Victoria 2 Heart of Darkness App Reviews

Victoria 2 is a great game with many great features. I would recomend it to people who like history, and RTS games. Though it seems that after upgrading to OS X Yosimite it crashes after 1 to 2 hours of gameplay.

Seems some people don’t realize that this version includes all of the required expansions to make it work. Well worth the $30 it cost.

I downloaded this game, and I have to say, it is one of the most engrossing I have ever come across. However, I had to do tons of outside research to be able to know how the game worked, so that was a little tedious. It also would be nice if they added an easy way to delete files into the game itself, as the only way to delete save games is tediously through unix.

This is a great game. That’s it. If you want to live the Grosse Politik era then you can easily buy it with any regret at all. Yet some tutorial text should be correct. And graphics is not what we know the state of the art is, indeed. Unfortunately no mod options (at least, I have not found mods working on Mac yet). Look, then, buying this version you can play the whole game. No need to buy previous versions on the Mac App Store.

I liked it, it is fun and immersing, you can easily down hours into it. With that being said, it crashes frequently.

Good game but the map is black when I zoom in. Also, the flags for the armies are all blank, so its frustrating to tell which army belongs to which country.

Now this may not apply to all but it does apply to myself and maybe a few others out there who like to play historical scenarios from the get go of the initial start date so you have the max time to play out said scenarios I did this frequently in EU3 (another Paradox game for those who are not aware) via console commands which was great for the simple fact that all the commands worked unlike this game where nearly all of the commands make the crash to the desktop nearly a 100% certainty so until they fix said console command problems I’ll be forced to give this game only 2 stars otherwise it would be a 5 star game like EU3. Hoped this is of sum use before you fork over $30.

Just make the mods work and itl be 5 stars

This game is turly engrossing, but for me it crashes about an hour into playing which can be really frustrating. Five stars once they fix that little problem.

The game is good and offers many opportunities with its many nations. It does take a few hours of learning and people should watch a playthrough before deciding. After a good understanding of the game mechanics, it will be easy to enjoy. Also, be prepared to have some annoying A.I. Occasionaly it does have some graphical glitches. This can be resolved by restarting the game. If that does not work, restart your Mac. If you are into modding, the files are easy to acess and change.

the game is great just really want the patch 3.04 then it will be better

How can I redownload this game? For some reason my Mac deleted it forever, I can’t find it anywhere. So just please tell me how to download it again!
